Surprise me, BlueBelle, surprise me, it's what you do best!
The blue project is coming along, in spite of the fact that I did not get a single blue kit. iin these last litters. I had hoped to get a doe from When in Rome, but I will retain one of the bucks for now, as they both have show potential, and it would be nice to have a solid junior buck to show in September, Rosie's blue tort doe and blue tort buck are looking very good, particularly the buck, who also looks like he might be a show bun, and Phoebe's Alice is really showing potential for the show table. Benjamin has been bred to Paris and will be bred to Rosie soon. I cannot get Trust bred, so may let her live for a week with Amos, who is not as shy as Bayou. We will see if he can get the job done. Gabi the Tank has a body that won't quit, and I will breed her to Bayou the day she hits 6 months. BlueBerry and Lile's India will both be bred to Bayou this fall, and I am trying to breed Bijou to him now- Bijou hit the 4 year mark the first of this month, so she may be done with the mom thing, but we will see.
The Otter project may finally get off the ground- I have located two Smith bred black otter does who will join us at the end of the month- now please keep your fingers crossed that JIG is still fertile! He is the happiest, friendliest, most active boy, and I hope he can pull off some litters for us this fall.
