On a sad note, Bijou lost all her kits - one blue was born dead and the other two pinkish ones died within a few hours of birth. She tried to keep the last one alive, jumped in the box constantly trying to get it to nurse. She is an older girl and it may be time to retire her, but I will try once more. She is such a beautiful bun, and so quiet and gentle.
Rosie was a very successful first time mother, with three nice size kits and one that I think is a runt rather than a peanut, but I am not always good at telling right away - but she is attentive and checks the box frequently. Not sure of colors, I have been really stumped this year with my guesses, so will give it a few more days.
BlueBerry and Sola are looking good and will have a try at the show tables at Taylorsville in a few weeks. I separated Sola and Wonder today, as they are 12 weeks old. Sola is fine, Wonder is moping, but he adored her, and I will have to give him some extra attention. He is a lop of an unusual color. We are still wondering if he is any identifiable color or his own version of something or other. A SWEET boy, still has those big ears and great body.
